- Product Applications
- Very high molecular weight
- Very quickly soluble in stirene
- High binding power for glass fibers in “hot melt” operating conditions
- High compatibility with unsaturated polyester matrices
- Applications
- FILCO® 661 is available at different contents of anticaking agents 2,5-5% of FILCO® 661 on the glass weight is normally required according to the required stiffness for glass mat. Water as fine mist can be sprayed to help
- FILCO® 661 to stick to glass fibre. After application of FILCO 661, glass mat is stoved at 180-210°C for 1-2 minutes; this operation allows water to evaporate and melts FILCO® 661, which accumulates at the contact points of glass strands, binding them.
