FILCO® 348 is an epoxy resin presented in a non-ionic water emulsion, specifically serving as a film-former within glass fiber sizings. Its appearance resembles that of a milky liquid. Key product characteristics include its composition as a pure epoxy resin, a narrow particle size distribution, stability against hydrolysis and sedimentation, as well as demonstrating high mechanical shear stability even in diluted emulsions.

Functions: Film Former

Chemical Family: Epoxy & Epoxy Derivatives

Compatible Polymers & Resins: Epoxies (EP), Phenolic Resins, Unsaturated Polyester (UPE)

Processing Methods: Filament Winding, Pultrusion
