IncaTara Peruvian Tara Gum Powder is obtained by grinding the endosperm of the seeds of Caesalpinia spinosa (Fam. Leguminosae). It mainly consists of polysaccharides with high molecular weight, primarily composed of galactomannans. The main component is a linear chain of (1, 4)-beta-D-mannopyranose units, with alpha-D-galactopyranose units attached by (1-6) linkages. The ratio of mannose to galactose in tara gum is 3:1.

Characterized by very good mechanical properties and good melting behaviour, it exhibits an excellent processability and it is consequently suggested for the manufacturing of profiles, sheets, films and coating applications.

FILCO® 8800 is an epoxy-ester resin available as a non-ionic water microemulsion. It appears as a milky-to-hazy liquid and is primarily compatible with carbon fiber reinforcements.
