FILCO® JS 105 is an unsaturated polyester resin provided in a milky liquid, non-ionic water emulsion. This resin is known for its highly unsaturated nature and contains a non-ionic emulsifier integrated into the polymer structure. Its key characteristics include hydrolysis and sedimentation stability, ensuring prolonged stability over time, a narrow distribution of particle sizes for uniform application, and high mechanical shear stability, particularly when the emulsion is diluted. These features make it suitable for various applications within the realm of polymer and emulsion-based processes, especially in the context of glass fiber treatment.

Functions: Film Former

Chemical Family: Polyesters, Unsaturated Polyester (UPE)
