P.A.T Lemon #1 Flake Shellac is a resin produced by the female lac bug on trees in the forests of India and Thailand. Lemon #1 shellac, containing 2-5% natural shellac wax, yields milky dispersions of medium color shade in various solvents. Coatings and films of wax containing shellacs result in surfaces with a satin gloss.
