Kemectant EB3 is a powerful processing aid for pigment dispersions, inks and paints. It exhibits the following properties:
- Improves the freeze-thaw stability - 17°C over 6 cycles
- Extremely effective humectant (prevents in-can drying) up to 50°C
- VOC free, SVOC free
- Increases compatibility in all aqueous systems
For formulations containing inorganic pigments up to 70% the addition and processing of all the components including Kemectant EB3 can be achieved by high speed/shear mixer. For organic pigments up to 55% we recommend further processing with a bead mill or triple roll mill to achieve maximum strength and required particle size.
