TRAPYLENⓇ 8000 has outstanding adhesion to various polyolefinic plastics and was developed specially as a ready to use primer with good paint ability for TPO-foils. For increased demands concerning adhesion and resistance of the coat (heat and chemicals) it is advisable to crosslink TRAPYLENⓇ 8000 with polyisocyanates based on HDI oder TDI in a dosage of 2%. The surface tension of the foils should have abt. 50 - 52 mN/m.

Applications

Typical application quantity in range of 0.5 - 1.5 g/m² (dried film), drying condition should be 30s at 80°C.
Pot life: minimum 8 h using it as 2 pack system.
