Trapylen® X 9100 M and its matt variants serve as ideal primer systems for coating films and foils. Additionally, custom-made products tailored for specific films are available. These ready-to-use primers can be applied as delivered. Some variants can function as two-component systems to enhance resistance against chemicals and temperature. Incorporating the crosslinker prior to application is necessary for these systems.

  • TRAPYLEN® X 9100 M has outstanding adhesion to various polyolefinic plastics and was developed specially as a ready to use primer with good paintability for TPO- foils.
  • This TPO-primer is a chlorine free product in comparision to the standard TRAPYLEN®-grades.
  • For coating TPO-foils a physical corona treatment is strongly recommend in order to achieve a surface tension of about 50 mN/m.
