- TRAPYLEN® 196 S has outstanding affinity to polyolefinic plastics such as polypropylene, PP/EPDM thermoplastic rubbers and - with limitations to adhesion strength - as well to polyethylene.
- TRAPYLEN® 196 S is used as adhesion promoter respectively additive for any pretreatment of such surfaces for laminating, bonding and painting.
- The heat sealing properties between alumina and PP are also excellent. TRAPYLEN® 196 S can be used as additive in seen printing inks as well.

The addition of TRAPYLEN® 196 S to the main system must be checked by tests, so that the application depends on the screen printing system.
- Drying conditions: Usually 30 s at 80 °C.
- Residual quantity: 3 - 4 g/m²
