- Product Highlights
- TRAPYLEN® T 8380 is a ready for use primer based on a chemically modified, low chlorinated polypropylene.
- It has a comparatively high film softening temperature, good film flexibility and resistance against thermal decomposition.
- TRAPYLEN® T 8380 has outstanding affinity to polyolefinic substrates and is especially developed as adhesion promoter for untreated thermoplastic polyolefinic elastomer foils. Such TPO/TPE blends shall replace former PVC/ABS materials in the automotive industry, however due to the low surface tension and poor wetting characteristics they require treatment prior to painting with PU or other lacquer systems.
