Trapylen® 130 X is a chemically modified low-chlorinated polypropylene celebrated for its remarkable affinity to polyolefinic plastics, including PP, PP/EPDM-blends, and, with certain limitations in adhesion strength, PE. Versatile in its applications, it serves as either a straight primer or an adhesion promoter for base coats and pigmented primers. Its primary use extends to paintings and coatings for molded parts and sealing profiles in the automotive industry, encompassing applications such as bumpers, side panels, and door seals. Additionally, Trapylen® finds utility in adhesives and flocking agents for door seals. Moreover, it is employed in industrial settings where PP-based plastics undergo chemical pretreatment.
