Trapylen® 145 X 2 is a chemically modified low-chlorinated polypropylene recognized for its remarkable affinity to polyolefinic plastics, including PP, PP/EPDM-blends, and, to a limited extent in adhesion strength, PE. Notably, the resin in Trapylen® 145 X 2 boasts a higher molecular weight within the range of 110,000 and a significantly lower chlorine content compared to other maleic-modified Trapylen® grades. These distinctive properties contribute to improved adhesion as well as enhanced heat and chemical resistance. However, it's important to note that these enhancements come at the cost of lower solubility and compatibility.

Product Highlights
  • TRAPYLEN® 145 X 2 is a chemically modified low chlorinated polypropylene with outstanding affinity to polyolefinic plastics such as PP, PP/EPDM-blends and, with limitations to adhesion strength, to PE.
  • The resin in TRAPYLEN® 145 X 2 has a higher molecular weight in range of 110 000 and a much lower chlorine content in comparision to other maleic modified TRAPYLEN® grades. These properties improve the adhesion and as well the heat and chemical resistance but lower the solubility and compatibility.
